Congratulations on your invitation to Fiji! I wanted to make sure you knew that several members of your group are gathering virtually on Facebook. If you haven't already joined, search for the "Peace Corps Fiji" group on Facebook. It's a great place to ask questions of Fiji's currently serving volunteers and RPCVs.
You also may want to consider encouraging your friends or family to join Friends of Fiji (www.fofiji.org). They are a group back in the states (with many Fiji RPCVs) that raises funds for volunteer projects in country.
:You are my parents neighbor on Sunrise Circle. I wish you well in the PC Fiji. I'm leaving for Macedonia on Sept. 14th. We retirees have so much to offer. I'm a retired teacher (30 years) and 66! I'll try to stop by Sunday if you're still there and see you and your wife briefly.
